Generative A.I. is a rapidly evolving and unprecedented technology that is affecting the way newsrooms around the world operate. However, we found most news organizations’ policies and guidelines around their use of A.I. unspecific, unclear and unsatisfying. In an effort to both guide our team and clarify our processes to the public, we took a stab at writing a set of policies and practices that align with the values and concerns of our staff and our audience.
