There’s already speculation about who will replace Peter Mansbridge at The National, but the bigger question may be how relevant CBC’s top anchor job is anymore.

The CRTC loosened the rules about how to define Canadian TV. Now they’re reviewing skinny basic TV packages because of consumer complaints. How long can Canada’s TV industry keep going?
